Synopsis from back of DVD cover

A ROMANTIC TALE OF LIFE, LAUGHS AND A LITTLE SURPRISE CALLED LOVE

"Chasing Destiny" is a charming and funny love story where fate takes surprising turns.  60's rock legend Jet James (Christopher Lloyd) has relentless bill collector Bobby Mortiz (Casper Van Dien) on his case.  Bobby plans to repossess Jet's prized Mustang unless Jet gets him his back payments.  Jet's daughter Jessy (Lauren Graham) is staying at Jet's place along with Jet's best friend Nehemiah (real life rock legend Roger Daltrey) and is getting tired of getting nuisance calls from Bobby.

On his way to repossess Jet's car, Bobby meets Jessy and is captivated.  Jessy, not knowing Bobby is the bill collector who has been hounding them, becomes drawn to him and opens up about what it was like growing up the daughter of a rock star.  Their love has just begun when Jessy discovers Bobby's cover up.  She's furious and only one thing can save their romance . . . destiny!
